EarthFest is a sustainable event celebrating International Earth Day. This year's event will have live entertainment, local vendors, student organizations, food, and educational activities. EarthFest aims to be a low-waste event featuring recycling and composting.
As in previous years, UNT Dining Services has dedicated their time to securing a sustainable menu. This year they have secured a 100% plant-based menu. There will be plenty of food for all to enjoy, along with a glimpse of how Dining Services secures the vegetables they use.
It is collaboratively hosted by Student Activities, UPC, and the We Mean Green Fund. The event is free with current UNT student ID.
UNT has supported environmental research and teaching since 1934. EarthFest is only one of the ways UNT helps to educate and spread environmental responsibility, but it's probably the most fun!Location: Union North Green (Union 314/333 if rain)Event open to: UNT communityTicket Price: Free with a Student IDDepartment or Sponsor: Student ActivitiesContact Name: Student ActivitiesContact Email: Student.Activities@unt.eduContact Phone: 940-565-3807Expected Attendance: Over 500Top
